Welcome Graduate Students!
Our M.A. and Ph.D. graduate programs in English offer a range of areas like literature, critical theory, and writing studies. Whether you’re analyzing Victorian texts, critiquing films, or developing your creative writing, you’ll gain the tools to think critically and write effectively about complex ideas. By pursuing a graduate degree in English, you’ll practice critical thinking, research strategies, and methods of communication while studying a variety of literary and written genres. These skills are essential in nearly every field.
As a member of our graduate programs, you’re part of a collaborative intellectual community. You’ll be mentored by dedicated faculty, supported by your peers, and encouraged to pursue the questions and topics that matter most to you.
