Academic Advising

The English Department and the College of Liberal Arts provide academic advisement to students interested in majoring or minoring in English. Advisors work closely with students to guide them through their years at MTSU. They help students select courses, plan schedules, and make other academic decisions. Advisors also assist students with career planning and provide individual guidance on other university-related matters.

English majors are assigned advisors by the Undergraduate Studies Office (PH 309). New and prospective majors should contact Nicole Leonce to be assigned an advisor. For continuing students, the name of the advisor will be on the student’s Pipeline information.
